Explain in detail how this new feature would enhance RP and/or a Game Mechanic:
From the previous understanding from Declan and G about gun crafting. That it takes a buttload of time to produce one item, and then you have multiple in need. Till you get them all to produce the main item. Where the timer is the same. So for mechanics, maybe depending on their org level/years/business lvl/location they can produce more products at a time. So say they’re making the bumper, you need to make a sheet of iron or something it requires 5 iron. You put 10 iron in the machine, and it’ll produce 2 of them for the same time as one. But the max you can make at once is 5. So it’ll only take 15 iron max. But say you have to compress the iron sheet now, and the machine will only do 2-3 at a time. Then the finishing molding can do 2 or something. Just to get production popping out more, for the amount of time it takes. It should be pretty slow if your low in some direction and go faster the further you’re in something.
I know from the word that it took a good while to produce weapons. And it was more so to probably keep it within a decent limit. But for car parts you’ll be able to produce more at a better rate with people more invested.
